Granite Jungle would like everyone to meet our lyrical sicario Juan Carlos „Dollar Onemillion“ Estrella Nova a.k.a. Dollar Five. Born in Dominican Republic, raised in the southern Spain he somehow ended up in Scotland (probably, 'cause of the weather). At the age of 22 he‘s already been scribbling rhymes for over a decade. It was his teenage years when he and his mates FirstFive and Giant formed a Five Family crew. First recordings took place in the city of Jaen – Ambito studios – and the resulting product was the "Los Brothers" mixtape.

 

Well received within the local community and over the internets it gave the guys a boost to carry on with their craft and do local shows. Carlos kept writing verses after he moved to Edinburgh, UK  and released singles like Fre$h, La Vida Que Llevamos and Con Clase. Another year later he met a producer Don4t45 and started working on his debut album Cara o Cruz (Drop It, Killing on the MIC) and joined our Granite Jungle family.
